Sheet metal, sealed against rain and dust, rated for −10 °C to +60 °C. Components can be replaced in the field.
Connectivity

4G/LTE or Wi-Fi

Readings reach CropDesk over the mobile network where there is no Wi-Fi. Upload can be set from every 5 minutes to every 24 hours.
Sensors

14 parameters in one unit

Two soil, nine weather and three air-quality parameters. Readings are cross-checked against each other, so a faulty sensor is flagged rather than trusted.

An inbuilt LFP battery keeps NEST running for up to 96 hours without sun.

SEED

An autonomous agricultural rover for targeted field operations.

SEED is being developed to inspect crops and carry out targeted operations such as spraying, bringing automation to repetitive field work. Its capabilities are being validated in prototype trials.
