Young minds working for a better future for farmers.

CropNow is an agricultural technology company. We build field monitoring systems, agricultural robotics, software and data-driven intelligence for farms.

Our work starts in the field. We study crops alongside the farmers who grow them, and we test every product against what we find there.

NEST, our smart farm monitoring station, reads field conditions through the season. CropDesk turns those readings into insights a farmer can act on.

Knowing the field helps farmers put water and crop inputs where they are needed, and save them where they are not.

We bring technology to rural communities together with training and education, so farmers can use it with confidence.

From Indian fields to international stages, we are building intelligent systems for agriculture in India and beyond.

What we are working towards

Each goal is tied to a product or programme doing the work.

  1. Water conservation

NEST tracks soil water status and local weather in the field, so irrigation can follow what the crop needs rather than a fixed schedule.

  2. Early crop-risk insights

CropDesk brings field readings together and flags conditions linked to pest and disease risk, giving farmers time to respond before losses build up.

  3. Agricultural automation

SEED, our autonomous field rover, is in development to take on repetitive field work such as crop inspection and targeted spraying.

  4. Rural communities

Field programmes, farmer training and initiatives such as the DOT Project connect our technology with education and collaboration in the communities we work with.

How CropNow works

From field observations to informed action.

NEST, our smart farm monitoring station, records soil, weather and air conditions in the field.

CropDesk brings those readings together in one place and turns them into alerts and recommendations.

Farmers act on that advice in the field. SEED, now in development, is being built to carry out field operations such as targeted spraying.

Over time, this field data will feed the India Crop Data Repository: an initiative we are building to bring agricultural information together for research and collaboration.

Our products

Bringing technology closer to the farmer.

Three products, one system: NEST monitors the field, CropDesk turns the data into decisions, and SEED brings automation to field work.

Smart farm monitoring station

A solar-powered station that records soil, weather and air conditions day and night, so irrigation and crop-care decisions rest on real readings from the field.

Autonomous field rover

An unmanned agricultural rover in development, built to bring automation to field operations such as crop inspection and targeted spraying.

Agricultural intelligence platform

Where field data and insights come together: a farm’s conditions, risks and next steps in one place, on the web and on the phone.

Impact and initiatives

Our purpose reaches beyond the field.

Better farming needs more than better tools. Our initiatives carry the same field-first thinking into natural resources, education and skills.

AkashBhumi uses Earth observation data to help land and resource managers use water, soil and energy more carefully. The DOT Project runs design-thinking and innovation workshops, and has trained more than 2,500 students across 13+ institutions.

Both are part of the CropNow ecosystem and share its mission: technology that serves people and the resources they depend on.

A better future for Indian agriculture starts with all of us.

We work with farmers, researchers, institutions, government bodies, businesses, NGOs and individuals: anyone who wants to put technology to work for agriculture, natural resources and rural development.

Bring us a field challenge, a research collaboration, a technology partnership or a community initiative.
