Initiatives

CropNow is the core of a six-venture ecosystem. These two initiatives carry its purpose beyond the field: AkashBhumi brings resource intelligence to land and water, and The DOT Project builds problem-solving skills in students. Each has its own home; here is the short version.

What is AkashBhumi

AkashBhumi is a planetary resource intelligence platform that helps humans understand and use natural resources more intelligently.

Developed under CropNow, AkashBhumi uses Earth observation data to translate complex environmental signals into clear, actionable insights.

AkashBhumi is designed to monitor and interpret the core systems that sustain life on Earth (water, soil, air, heat, crops and land) and help people make better decisions before stress, waste or damage occurs.

Our mission

Akash sky · Bhumi land

AkashBhumi's mission is to serve people with insights that matter. Akash means sky, and Bhumi means land. We exist to support those responsible for land and natural resources by helping them understand real conditions, reduce unnecessary use, and build systems that last.

From utility dependence to resource independence.

Bulk-water users in Bengaluru buy almost every litre they use, from tankers, borewells and the municipal grid. We help them catch, store, treat and reuse water on their own site.

The problem · Every litre is bought

The solution · Your site already holds part of the answer

  1. 01

Know what enters. Understand what leaves.

Map where water comes from, where it is used, what it costs and where it leaves the site.

  2. 02

    Save water before adding capacity.

Fix the leaks, inefficient fixtures and habits first, so every system after can be smaller.

  3. 03

    Every roof is a catchment.

Plan collection of rooftop, surface and sub-soil water around local rainfall and use.

  4. 04

Store it for the dry days.

Size storage by geography and climate; recharge the ground with any surplus.

  5. 05

    Used water becomes a resource.

Treat it to the quality its next job needs: gardening, flushing, cooling.

  6. 06

    Fewer tankers.

Track incoming, harvested and reused water, cost and energy against the baseline.

The outcome · Water saved. Money saved. Resources protected.

Why DOT exists

A dot is the smallest connection

“DOT Project is where your curiosity connects to the world’s most unsolved problems, and you become the bridge.”

Mohammed Kabeer, Founder
  1. 01 / Why

We start with problems, not solutions.

Before any app, machine or business plan, DOT students go out and look. They observe real people and name the problems nobody is naming yet.

  2. 02 / What

We turn curiosity into something tangible.

A single observation becomes a question, then a set of connected ideas: who it affects, why it happens, what could change it.

  3. 03 / How

    We learn by building.

Every session ends in something you can show: a pitch, a prototype, a brand or an AI app.

The DOT method

Six stages. One journey.

  1. 01

    Discover

    See what others walk past.

  2. 02

    Question

Ask who it is for and who it affects.

  3. 03

    Think

Turn a problem into an opportunity.

  4. 04

    Design

Give the idea a shape and a voice.

  5. 05

    Build

    Make something people can use.

  6. 06

    Pitch

Convince the people who can back it.

2 to 3 hours per session. Online and in person.
